The Flathead Valley offers residents a plethora of outdoor opportunities and scenery. With the mountains and Flathead Lake surrounding, the valley is sure to attract tourists and locals alike. Additionally, Glacier National Park is not too far away, offering access to some of the more pristine wildlife, hiking trails, and bodies of water.
Flathead lake is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. In the summertime, the lake is packed with people fishing, boating, swimming, and sailing. All around the lake, there is fresh produce being sold, often by local farmers, including the infamous Flathead cherries, plums, and apples.
Surrounding the lake are the towns of Kalispell, Big Fork, and Polson, amongst other smaller communities. If you have never been, we highly recommend you check it out.
